There are hundreds of countries that are in in conflicts and suffering from natural disasters, over population and poverty and millions upon millions of people in those countries who want to escape to industrialized countries.
If they are all allowed to emigrate, who will be left there to fix the problems that made their countries unlivable in the first place?
Any country can only sustain a certain number of people then it turns into a slum. Where will we run to when they turn our country into the same shithole they made of their own countries?
$1.87 BILLION dollars in remittances to Haiti alone, $300 billion or more world wide each year. How long can the industrialized world remain industrialized when their coffers are hemorrhaging that much cash each year?
There has to be another way!!!!!!!
