History reveals that no movement can be won by non violence. It's merely a western propaganda that one should not resort to violence. Fatah has lost its striking capacity so it no more can serve any purpose for Palestinians.

After becoming a political party the leadership of Fatah will become more corrupt. Hamas has emerged as first choice of the Palestinians and if free and fair elections are held they will continue to be so.

There are sound reasons behind your welcome of Fatah becoming a political party. Fatah has always collaborated with Israel and US. BTW when was the Fatah a revolutionary party?

Believe it or not, I wish them well. The transition from terrorist to statesman is one of the hardest to make.
Fatah has its internal problems, and the Gaza delegates who were unable to attend are contesting the votes of the conference, claiming that the voting rigging was worst than that of Iran.
It also has the unenviable reputation of corruption, from Mahmoud Abbas on down, which they will have to overcome, as well as their external battle with Hamas.
The Palestinians deserved better than being used as a political tool by the Arab states for over 60 years, and the treatment they’ve received by their Arab brethren is a sad testimonial to Arab unity. They also deserve better leaders who have the interests of the Palestinian Arabs at heart rather than their own agendas.
